ADRIEN THIBAUT is only 20 but has already taken the long way round to try to make his break in English football.
Born in Slough, he was brought up in Ireland and played for Cobh Ramblers in the League of Ireland First Division.
He also turned out at Macclesfield but what turned out to be his lucky break came while he was playing for Bradford Park Avenue in the Northern Premier League East Division last season.
He was spotted and soon snapped up on a short-term contract by League Two Crewe.
Four games, two goals and two assists later, he was rewarded this week with a new two-year deal and the option for 12 months on top.
