THE mystery of a statue plagued by penis pinchers has deepened after a gallery was sent a box of clay willies.
Late British artist Douglas WainHobson's sculpture of Danish fisherman Grim - Grimsby's founding father features him sporting a mountainous manhood.
But after its manhood was nicked for the seventh time officials decided to put the statue - at the Lincolnshire fishing port since 1973 - into storage.
Now, almost 20 years on, the&nbsp;town's Turntable Gallery - which is looking after the artwork - has been sent six mystery members.

But unlike Grim's missing fibreglass todger they're made out of clay.
Gallery owner Dale Wells said: "To get the box of d*cks was quite exciting. There was a biscuit tin full of straw which had some prototype penises in them.
"There's a note attached that says their grandfather has passed on the penises to them. I don't think they are the ones that have been stolen but I think they are ones that have been made as prototypes." He urged the mystery benefactor to come forward, adding: "They could form part of an exhibition."
