Hanley tells Scots to keep it simple after Munich mauling

WIN, lose or draw, most teams in the Euros have so far at least had hope of good things happening.

The Scotland camp, by contrast, has been an exercise in navel gazing, wondering what on earth went wrong in the transition from planning stage to playing field.

One saving grace is the 5-1 rout by Germany in Munich on Friday took place in a city where fans could head to one of the many bierkellers to drown their sorrows.

Scotland have won just once in 10 games - against Gibraltar - and conceded 26 goals in the process.

But according to defender Grant Hanley, manager Steve Clarke and his players have talked through Friday's letdown and put it to bed.
