HENRY SLADE says he turned down a move to France because he still has unfinished business with England.

The centre, who will win his 63rd cap against Japan on Saturday, signed a new deal with Exeter in May, keeping him in the Premiership and available for Test rugby.

But Slade admits his head was nearly turned by offers to move to the Top 14, especially after he was left out of the World Cup squad by England boss Steve Borthwick.

He fought back to start all five games in the Six Nations and this weekend is one of the vice-captains in Tokyo.
