DETECTIVES are probing "a number of allegations of sexual offences" involving Russell Brand.
The Metropolitan Police said some of the alleged attacks were in London and others elsewhere.&nbsp;None were recent.
It did not say how many reports had been filed.&nbsp;
It comes after four women accused Brand, 48, of predatory and abusive behaviour, including rape and sexual assault.
He denies the claims, made in a Channel 4 Dispatches documentary, and has said all his relationships were consensual.
Yesterday the Met announced it had received more complaints.
Inquiry head Det Supt Andy Furphy said: "We continue to encourage anyone who believes they may have been a victim of a sexual offence, no matter how long ago it was, to contact us."
