Maryland Cookies are 70% pricier on average across the board, while McVitie&rsquo;s digestives are up 25% from &pound;1.20 to &pound;1.50 in Sainsbury&rsquo;s, according&nbsp;to The Grocer&rsquo;s Key Value Item tracker.
A Morrison&rsquo;s spokeswoman said:&nbsp;&ldquo;This is an unprecedented period of inflation.&rdquo;
But a Sainsbury&rsquo;s spokeswomen said shoppers could still &ldquo;find low prices on the products they buy most often&rdquo;.
And Tesco claims its 300g packs of Mrs Molly&rsquo;s chocolate digestives were price-matched with Aldi&rsquo;s at 75p.
Official figures show food inflation hit 19.3% in April, remaining close to the highest rate for more than 45 years.
