NIALL CANAVAN hopes it will be a case of second time lucky at Stamford Bridge when League Two leaders Barrow roll up at Chelsea tonight.
The centre-half, 33, featured for Scunthorpe in big cup ties against Manchester City and Manchester United earlier in his career.
But Canavan was gutted when the Iron played Chelsea back in 2016 after he was dropped for new signing Murray Wallace.
"I was asked if I've ever played at Stamford Bridge the other day but I didn't with Scunthorpe," said Canavan.
"I played all the games to qualify (for the FA Cup third round) and then got dropped after they made a new signing! "Hopefully that's not the case this time."
