NURSES are set to hit the picket line again after rejecting a 5% pay offer and cash payment.
The Royal College of Nursing said a 48-hour strike - taking in the early May bank holiday will start from 8pm on April 30.
In a letter to Health Secretary Steve Barclay, RCN leader Pat Cullen said: "What has been offered to date is simply not enough. Until there is a significantly improved offer, we are forced back to the picket line."
A government spokesman said it was "disappointing" that the deal was rejected, warning the action will be "hugely concerning" for patients.
