A DRUGS lord known as "The Chameleon" who allegedly broadcast an execution on social media has finally been caught.
&Aacute;ngel Ch&aacute;vez Ponce, leader of the Los Viagras cartel, was arrested in the Mexican city of Aguascalientes.
He was nabbed over the kidnapping of a businessman in Michoac&aacute;n back in 2014.
The remains of the victim were found two years later.
The Chameleon, inset, is suspected of a series of exGUARDIA CIVIL SIE tortions and the murder of a regional commissioner of the Civil Guard.
He is also a suspect in the killing of Hugo Figueroa, whose execution was broadcast over social media in 2019.
The drugs kingpin's arrest ends a huge manhunt dating back years.
The Chameleon's arrest was confirmed by the Attorney General's Office of the State of Michoac&aacute;n.
