GOLF icon Sir Nick Faldo is embroiled in a legal row with a Prosecco firm over the name of his wine brand.
The former world No.1 runs the firm Faldo which has a shield as its logo with six stripes to represent his six major championships.
But Prosecco makers Valdo have taken issue with the brand - and want him to stop trading using his surname.
Sir Nick has laughed off complaints from the Italian firm - saying he will not be changing anything.
The 66-year-old wrote on X: "Recently, Valdo's trademark attorney has suggested that our logo on our wine labels may cause confusion in the marketplace for their brand.
"While we respect their concerns, we have used the Faldo shield and font for many years.
"Also, who do you think has more notoriety&nbsp; wine brand from Italy or a six-time major champion?" Valdo was founded in 1883 in Verona. The firm declined to comment.
