SHELL reignited calls for a beefed-up windfall tax after its former boss saw his pay package soar by more than 50% to £9.7milion last year.
The firm's annual report revealed Ben van Beurden, who stepped down in January, received £6.3m in 2021.
His 2022 package included a £2.6m annual bonus, a £4.9m long-term shares award and £1.4m salary.
