A COWBOY builder has been added to the UK&rsquo;s &ldquo;most wanted&rdquo; list after allegedly fleecing customers out of thousands.&nbsp;
Steven Fidler is wanted in connection with a series of frauds from November 2019 to January 2022.
Crimestoppers said Fidler went by at least seven different names, including Steve Donohue, Steven and Riley Doherty and Simey McGuinley.
He is wanted by forces across the UK, including West Midlands, Cheshire and Warwickshire.
Crimestoppers said many of those targeted used online bidding sites and were &ldquo;contacted by Fidler using various unregistered company names&rdquo;.
It is claimed Fidler would ask for money upfront but fail to complete work. The charity said:
&ldquo;Fidler has asked for a large portion of the costs up-front and the complainants have paid thousands of pounds in bank transfers and cash.
&ldquo;He has then started the work, often recommending further work&nbsp;they need doing and asking for more money. His attendance has been sporadic.&rdquo;
