But Steve Cooper’s side won’t go down without a huge fight after a dramatic comeback to move out of the bottom three. 

Jason Steele replaced Robert Sanchez in the visitors’ goal after Brighton bowed out on penalties in the FA Cup semi-finals to Manchester United.

He managed to achieve what Sanchez failed to do in seven attempts at Wembley when he dived to his right to deny Brennan Johnson.

And Albion took the lead through Facundo Buonanotte in the 38th minute.

But Forest showed resilience to level in first-half stoppage time through Renan Lodi’s deflected cross off Pascal Gross.
