Arteta flies high after an 'ugly' victory

MIKEL ARTETA loved seeing his Arsenal side win "ugly" at North London rivals Tottenham.

And the Gunners boss claimed his team were desperate to win after the midweek injury to captain Odegaard.

Martin Arteta admitted he suffered sleepless nights before the derby, with Riccardo Calafiori also injured on international duty and Declan Rice banned.

But despite Spurs enjoying almost two thirds of the possession and having more shots, Gabriel's second-half header gave Arsenal the win.
