TELLY adventure travel shows are snubbing women presenters for "middle-aged men".

Of the 84 travel-related shows available to stream across BBC iPlayer and Channel 4, only 18% had a female presenter, researchers found.

Just 13% were picked to regularly host action-based series. But older male presenters like James May, 61, and Gino D'Acampo, 47, are everywhere, it's claimed.
