THIERRY HENRY suffered Olympic heartbreak last night when his France "crazy gang" lost to Spain in a mad men's final after extra time.

The Arsenal legend's team without superstars fought like men possessed after conceding three first-half goals in a frenzied match.

Crystal Palace forward Jean-Philippe Mateta netted an injury-time penalty after a VAR check to force the extra 30 minutes at Parc des Princes.

But sub-Sergio Camello then scored twice the second in the 121st minute - as Spain's glorious summer of football also claimed the Paris gold medal.
