HOJ ON THE MONEY

The huge price tag no longer looks like such a huge weight on his shoulders.

In fact, Rasmus Hojlund is showing exactly why Manchester United were ready to pay £73m for him last summer.

It was Hojlund who scored twice, securing the win which pushes United closer to the Champions League places and will have Aston Villa and Tottenham looking nervously over their shoulders.

Denmark striker Hojlund took 14 Premier League games to find the net but now he cannot stop, as he became the youngest player to score in six consecutive top-flight games.

Hojlund, just 21 years and 14 days, beat Joe Willock's record which was 21 years and 272 days, while even Erling Haaland was a year older.

After all the debates, Hojlund looks like a proper striker full of goals, power and pace to cope with the demands of English football.

Incredibly, his two goals came in the first seven minutes but, in typical fashion, United then made it hard for themselves thereafter.
