Lydia Barber did not realise she had won big on the Nifty 50 numbers game at her betting shop in Croydon, South London, and left without her prize.
A week later, the shop's manager Gillian Caines spotted her&nbsp;and ran down the street to gave her the amazing news.
Gillian, 51, said: "When we checked her ticket, we were all so happy for her. She must have thought I was some kind of mad woman, chasing after her."
