Boffins dunked 17 of the most popular "biccies" in hot water to see how long they took to break apart.
The Jaffa won - despite biscuit fans insisting it's actually a cake. It lasted 116 dunks over three minutes and 16 seconds. But the digestive - many people's top "dunker" - crumbled first. And Hobnobs, another fave, came a limp eighth. Biscuit fans blasted the results.
One wrote: "Sheer bloody madness." Another said: "You can't dunk Jaffa Cakes."&nbsp;And a third posted: "Rubbish!"
TopRated Casinos, which carried out the study, admitted the Jaffa was "perhaps a slightly controversial winner".
