THE country's first convicted cyber-flasher has been jailed.
Nicholas Hawkes, 39, was already a convicted sex offender when he sent images of his penis to a girl aged 15 and a woman in February, the CPS said.
The woman took screenshots on WhatsApp and reported him to police.
After admitting two counts of sending a photograph or film of genitals to cause alarm, distress or humiliation at an earlier Hawkes of hearing, Basildon, Essex, was jailed for 66 weeks by a judge at Southend Crown Court.
He was convicted under the Online Safety Act after cyber-flashing became an offence this year.
Hawkes was already on the sex offenders register after being convicted of sexual activity with a child and exposure.
