Jonbon's all set for chasing bow

JONBON will begin his hotly anticipated chasing career at Warwick next Wednesday – and Nicky Henderson is already eyeing a step up to the top level for Douvan’s brother.

The six-year-old set a new record for a point-to-pointer sold at public auction when purchased by JP McManus for £570,000 in November 2020.

Jonbon suffered his only defeat behind stablemate Constitution Hill in the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle at Cheltenham last March before going one better the following month in the Grade One Top Novices’ Hurdle at Aintree.
