A BRIT drug lord who fled from the Costa del Sol to Dubai after a botched kidnapping attempt against him has been busted.
A huge international operation saw 49 people arrested in six countries with 30 tonnes of cocaine seized.
Authorities from the US, Britain and Europe believe the "Lords of Drugs" gang was behind a third of all cocaine trafficked to Europe.
Their bust has been hailed as historic, with supercars, vast amounts of cash and luxury villas all seized.
