A BEER lover is set to complete his challenge of visiting all 875 Wetherspoons in the British Isles, racking up a &pound;30,000 bar tab.
David Bingham, 60, has spent four years enjoying the "longest pub crawl in history often travelling thousands of miles every month.
His mission has cost him a fortune in travel fares, drinks and overnight stays.
He will celebrate the end of his epic challenge when he sinks a pint at The Flying Horse, at Gatwick airport, today.
The boozer is located past the security barrier, meaning David had to buy a plane ticket - a cheapie to Shannon, Ireland before being allowed inside.
The retired forklift driver, from West Hallam, Derbys, said: "It's been a wonderful journey across Britain and I've visited never have visited so many places I'd ne not been checking off the pubs." David came up with his challenge after his partner Una Cooper, 63, bought him a &pound;3 Wetherspoon directory on eBay.
The couple took it to their local branch, The Observatory in Ilkeston, and David decided to visit every one on the list.
