PAUL Whitehouse admits he loved being offensive for his role on new comedy The Change.
His character Tony isn't politically correct and does things that would upset snowflakes.
But the comic jumped at the chance to do it.
He said: "I thought Tony such was a good character, because he's so un-right-on.
"The character is a pain in the arse.
"It gives me the opportunity to be totally politically incorrect, which is always a lot of fun! It was such a strong character."

Paul, 65, reckons Tony represents a lot of men in Britain&nbsp;today. He added: "Tony is your man out of time.
"There are millions of people like that in the country. A lot of people are set in their ways." Paul, who appears with Bob Mortimer in Gone Fishing, does not usually get involved in scripts, but he did with this character.
He said: "If I haven't been involved in the ul and Bob creating of it, I never know if I can bring anything to it.
Whereas with this, we had an affinity straight away." The Change starts on Wednesday at 10pm on Channel 4.
