BRIGHTERDAYSAHEAD bulldozed her way into the Champion Hurdle picture after destroying her Grade One rivals at Leopardstown.

The mare was slashed to as low as 7-2 from 20-1 for next March's hurdling crown at Cheltenham after her 30-length success.

The win gave Gordon Elliott his 100th Grade One victory.

And on a day of landmarks for the trainer, two hours earlier he also notched his 2,000th winner in Ireland when The Enabler won the maiden hurdle.
