PLUMBERS reckon they turn on more than taps while on the job because their uniforms are sexy.
The profession has topped a list of tradesmen who think their work clobber makes them more attractive.
Around 31% thought they looked better in their overalls than in normal clothes.
A spokesman for Helly Hansen Workwear, which did the study, said: "We know that by wearing a uniform, tradespeople - in particular plumbers feel more professional and confident in their work and their appearance." And more than a third said they wear work gear when they don't even have to.

Plumbers were closely followed by builders (28%) and gas engineers (28%) who also think they look better in work clothes.
But construction engineers are the least likely to feel good in uniform.
The survey also found uniforms sometimes lead to friends asking for freebie jobs.
