Cops dished out more than 31,000 "diversionary, educational or intervention activity" programmes last year.
The crooks and sex sent for education included 16,000 violent criminals, 93 robbers, and 1,000 sex offenders. Instead of being hauled before the courts, they were put on programmes including victim awareness courses and drug addiction counselling.
The number of criminals being handed the courses soared by 128% last year, Home Office figures show. Solicitor Nick Freeman, inset, nicknamed Mr Loophole, said it meant "criminal activity is being given the green light as part of woke agenda". He added: "This isn't justice. Why is it society's job to teach people how to behave?
"Why don't they do the course as part of sentence rather than as an alternative?"
A Home Office spokesman said: "We're taking action across the board to bring more offenders to justice, better protect victims, and equip the police with the powers they need to prevent crime!"&nbsp;
