Fatjoe.com, which ran the study, said: "In Britain, the queue is more than a way to wait, it's a symbol of fairness and order, making queue-jumpers public enemy No1." Folk who chip in with unwanted advice and opinions on social media irk 63% - making them our second biggest irritation. And those who
cannot make a proper cup of tea enrage a surprising 45%.

"From the importance of queuing to how tea is made, it explores the things that really annoy Brits.
"They show a society that prioritizes&nbsp;fairness, privacy and good manners. As we go about our everyday lives, it's these frustrations that reveal who we are as a nation."
Other behaviour that gets our goat includes commuters with poor etiquette on public transport (59%), DIY projects that shatter the peace (55%), litterbugs (52%) and customer rude service (49%).
