ST HELENS cashed in on a controversial first-half red card for Huddersfield prop Fenton Rogers to move into fourth place.
Academy product Rogers (inset) was sent off 38 seconds before the break by referee Aaron Moore for a high hit on Tee Ritson with Saints trailing 10-6.
But with the extra man, they came through with 12 unanswered secondhalf points at the John Smith's Stadium to record their 11th consecutive victory over the Giants.
"The players and the people around me thought it was a really harsh decision, the analyst upstairs thought it was a yellow," said Huddersfield interim head coach Luke Robinson.
