Molly and her colourful pet Jeckyll were part of a group of parrot owners that travelled from Derbyshire to Eryri in North Wales, formerly known as Snowdonia National Park.
Jeckyll is frequently let out to fly along with other parrots, and the birds readily return to their owners. But when peregrine falcons chased him, he panicked and took flight.

Molly set off up the 3,284ft Glyder Fawr mountain to look for her bird, but became stuck and in danger as she got to him.
