RISHI "Biggles" Sunak faces another by-election headache after MP Scott Benton lost his suspension appeal.
The Blackpool South MP was hit with a 35-day suspension from parliament after he was caught in a lobbying scandal.
He appealed but the Standards Committee's original decision was upheld by an independent panel.
Mr Benton said he was "deeply disappointed" by the decision. It means MPs will now vote on whether to back the punishment which, if supported, would trigger a recall petition and potential by-election.
Labour called on Mr Benton to resign immediately. Shadow paymaster general Jonathan Ashworth said: "This is yet another by-election caused by Tory scandal.
"Britain deserves better than this carousel of Conservative chaos."
