RISHI Sunak said he would hold the UK's top cop accountable for letting a pro-Palestine march go ahead on Armistice Day.
The Prime Minister hauled in Met Police chief Sir Mark Rowley for crisis talks over Saturday's London demo.
There are fears breakaway groups from the main march and far-right thugs could clash.
Mr Sunak said the protest "offends our heartfelt gratitude to the memory of those who gave so much so that we may live in freedom and peace". But he acknowledged "part of that freedom is the right to peacefully protest".
The PM said police have confirmed the march will not be near the Cenotaph in Whitehall.
But Mr Sunak added: "There remains the risk of those who seek to divide society using this weekend as a platform to do so."
Sir Mark has said there were no legal grounds to ban the march.
