<p>COMEDIAN Romesh Ranganathan was hunted by a polar bear while filming his TV show in the Canadian Arctic.</p>
<p>Romesh, his crew and their tour guide were looking for tusked narwhal whales when the party was spotted by the man-eater.</p>
<p>He said: "The rule is that if you're in the path of a polar bear, no matter how far away it is, you have to get out of the way of it because as soon as it sees you it will start&nbsp;heading towards you.&rdquo;</p>
<p>The party originally saw the bear walking across in front of them and continued to listen for the whales.</p>

<p>But then they spotted the same polar bear again &ndash; and it was now heading towards them.</p>
<p>Romesh told the Journey to the Magic podcast: &ldquo;So we all get up, get in the SkiDoos and we head off and then go set up somewhere else. We looked to the left and it&rsquo;s the same polar&nbsp;bear heading towards us.&rdquo; Romesh, 45, and his crew had to move four times until someone realised the bear could smell the food they were carrying.</p>
