'SILLY' COUNCIL SAFETY FEARS OVER BANKSY

A JOBSWORTH council was branded “silly” for dismantling a Valentine’s Day mural by Banksy.

The street artist laid claim to the artwork on a wall in Margate, Kent, after sharing a series of photos on his Instagram account.

Dubbed “Valentine’s Day Mascara”, it depicts a 1950s housewife wearing a blue pinny and yellow washing-up gloves with a swollen eye and a missing tooth.
