MITCHELL STARC is ready to prove a point at Lord's after being axed at Edgbaston.
To many it seemed odd that Australia would leave out their fastest and most unique bowler to start the Ashes, not least to Starc himself.
But he is no stranger to watching from the dressing room, especially in England, where he has played just nine out of 16 Tests.
This is a bowler with 310 Test wickets at an average of 27, and yet Australia are regularly happy to have him kicking his heels on each of the four tours he has been on - none of which they have won.
