LIVERPOOL captain Virgil van Dijk has hit back at Roy Keane in their war of words.
Keane accused Van Dijk of being arrogant after the Dutch defender claimed Liverpool were the only side trying to win Sunday's goalless draw with Manchester United.
The United legend (right), who summarised the match for Sky Sports, dubbed the comments disrespectful.
Van Dijk is not surprised by Keane's fierce defence of United, but couldn't resist another dig by claiming everyone watching the game would have agreed with his assessment.
"I like Roy Keane. If he said that then it's fine," said the Dutchman. "He's Man United through and through and I understand he could react like that.
