PROFITS are flying at three of the biggest budget airlines - thanks to add-on charges.
EasyJet, Ryanair and Wizz Air have all cashed in during the post-pandemic clamour for travel.
They bagged &pound;7.6billion for extra charges, including luggage, speedy boarding and printing boarding passes, between October 2022 and September 2023, according to&nbsp;City firm Peel Hunt. Last June, Prime Minister Rishi "Biggles" Sunak ordered a review of "drip pricing" - the practice where firms hide the true cost of products and services by charging consumers extra fees.

Naomi Leach from Which? slammed the charges - and said: "Our research found ticket prices have hit record highs.

EasyJet's Johan Lundgren has put the charges down to "increasing demand".
An easyJet spokesman added: "Customers only pay for the extras they want." Wizz Air and Ryanair were approached for comment.
