Authentic Brands Group, the fashion brand's American owners, claimed "damage done" during a tie-up with another firm was "too much to overcome".
The label has about 975 employees and runs 46 stores. Authentic's John McNamara said: "We remain focused on securing a new partner to uphold and grow the Ted Baker brand in the UK and Europe where it began."
Ted Baker walked away from a deal with AARC deal in January after claims its partner had failed to inject cash into the business.
UNILEVER - owner of the Marmite and Dove soap brands - is set to cut around 7,500 jobs globally, mostly office-based.
