But he could be sweating after Christian Roberto L&oacute;pez Rodr&iacute;guez clocked 12.82 seconds - in a pair of 2.76in-high stilettos.
The Spaniard dethroned German Andr&eacute; Ortolf, who had held the record with a time of 14.02. Christian said: "The preparation was very exhaustive and specific."
And he admitted: "I find it challenging to be able to run in high heels at high speed."&nbsp;
