AMBITIOUS Leigh have secured a major coup for next season after snapping up Aussie star Matt Moylan.
The former Kangaroos halfback, 32, has signed a two-year deal with Adrian Lam's Challenge Cup holders.
The dramatic golden-point win over Hull KR at Wembley marked Leigh's first Challenge Cup success since 1971.
Now the acquisition of seasoned campaigner Moylan will encourage hopes that the Leopards can challenge strongly for a maiden Super League title.
Moylan had another year to run on his contract at NRL side Cronulla Sharks but has opted to swap an Australian summer in Sydney for a cold winter in northwest England.
