BEN DUCKETT says there has been no change in message from management about how England attack one-day cricket - despite the debacle of the World Cup.

England's miserable title defence has seen selectors shake up the squad, promoting fringe players and young prospects for the three-match tour against the West Indies.

But Duckett maintained while new faces are getting a shot at nailing down a place for the next white-ball cycle, the message remains consistent.

"We have watched how England have played cricket over the past eight years and one bad five weeks does not define a team," he said.

"If we can go and play how they have played over the past eight years, or even half as good, that will be an achievement.
