EX-TEACHER Gary Chambers admits being made Warrington interim head coach came “out of the blue”.

But he has vowed to get A-Grade displays out of their misfiring stars.

Wolves’ head of youth, who played more than 200 times for the club before becoming a deputy head, takes charge as they host Super League leaders Catalans tomorrow night.

It comes five days after a 42-6 loss at Wakefield – their sixth defeat in a row – led to boss Daryl Powell being sacked.
