Littler hopes to show United how to win on stadium trip

LUKE LITTLER'S favourite Christmas presents included a pair of tickets for a tour at Manchester United's Old Trafford stadium.

And the boy wonder of darts, who is now just 7-1 to win the Paddy Power PDC World Championship, smiled and said: "Hopefully I'll show them how to win a trophy."

'Luke the Nuke' is a United fan and after the latest chapter of his Ally Pally fairy tale the mushroom cloud of congratulatory messages on his social media channels included a flurry of pats on the back from players in the Red Devils' Under-21s squad as well as a photo opportunity with United midfielder Donny van de Beek.

At 16, Littler has reached the fourth round and a guaranteed minimum payday of £35,000.
