Bassist Darryl Jones revealed: "It's changed over time, there used to be a huge snooker room.
"They would make a room out of curtains and things.
"We had the banks of video racing games, where you sit, that was around for a while.
"They kinda cut back on that stuff now." One thing they aren't cutting back on is Keith Richards' favourite food.
Darryl laughed: "Keith still has what he loves, shepherd's pie. There's so much food backstage, me and the keyboard player have our own rider." The Stones kick off a huge US Hackney Diamonds stadium tour in April with 80-year-old frontman Mick Jagger still fitter than a man half his age.
So what is the secret to Mick's endless energy? Darryl who has played with the band since 1993 spilled: "I asked Mick about the fitness thing once and he said to me, 'You know my dad was a PE teacher. When he came home from work he didn't ask me, 'Did you do your homework?' He asked, 'Did you run?'
"It was one of those things the lessons you learn as a kid, they come back." Keith, perhaps, learned different life lessons!
