Trainer Tom Ellis and his jockey missus Gina Andrews, 32, spent hours in the sack watching videos of their horse Latenightpass to get themselves "revved up".
They hope by studying footage of his habits in past races they will be able to manoeuvre the 11-year-old gelding into the perfect position to win today's showpiece race at Aintree in Liverpool.
