Leap Year baby Norman Jones was born on February 29, 1940, and is 84 but has only celebrated his birthday on the actual day 21 times.
His grand-daughter Katy Mason will turn 21 on April 1 marking two generations turning the same age.
Grandad-of-four Norman, from Hook-a-Gate, Shrops, is one of five million Leap Year babies worldwide.
There are no set rules for when they should celebrate their birthday.
In Scotland, it's said that being born on a leap day will lead to a life of bad luck.
But Norman who has been married to wife Mary for 62 years added: "I've never had any bad luck.
"I suppose I've had very good luck, I've had a good life.""
