Ken said: “Ducks don’t like me when they look at me. “I’ve cooked countless Peking ducks, probably several thousand. “On my first TV series we did Peking duck in the first programme and there was a run on ducks the next day. I’m their nemesis.” Ken, who shot to fame in BBC show Ken Hom’s Chinese Cookery in 1984, also revealed he loves a chippy dinner, adding: “Here in London now, I’m hankering for fish and chips, which I discovered when I first came as a poor student.”
