WITH City dominating domestic affairs until relatively recently you have to go back many years since Liverpool were favourites at Betfred for the Premier League title.

But Liverpool are today – I’m sad to say – favourites for the first time in three years after their home win against Aston Villa sent them five points clear at the top.

Betfred have them 6/5 to be 2025 champs ahead of fastfading City who are out to 2/1 after suffering their fourth defeat in 11 days at Brighton.

But no such trouble for Liverpool, who have seamlessly moved on from the Jurgen Klopp era and have attracted much interest amongst the super confident Scouse army that they could win the lot – and are consequently 200/1 at Betfred for the Quad!
