Three TAB soccer pools with add-ins totaling R550,000 add spice to this weekend's football line-up, but there's plenty of excitement before that including three PSL matches and a League Cup semi-final tonight.

Buccaneers Can Top The Log

Orlando Pirates get an opportunity to take back top spot in the Premier Soccer League tonight, but their clash away at Cape Town City is a real test of their ability to maintain a steady challenge for the title.

The promise of a real tussle for the league crown this season - after years of Sundowns running away from the rest of the pack - has energised the local football scene as the Buccaneers and Brazilians battle it out at the top of the table.

Both have won all but one of their league games to date with Sundowns on 30 points from 11 fixtures and Pirates three points back after nine wins in 10 matches.

They have the same number of goals scored (22) to conceded (4), so a Pirates win in Cape Town will put them top on goal difference.
