Man finds cockroach in his cold coffee; manager, waiter booked

The police have booked the manager and a waiter of Hope and Shine Lounge Hotel, Malad, after a customer allegedly found a cockroach in his cold coffee.

In his complaint, Pratik Rawat, 25, from Lokhandwala said that he had the unsavoury experience on Friday when he along with a friend visited the establishment located in front of Infinity Mall, Link Road.

According to the police report, Rawat, who operates an event management company, ordered two cold coffees. As the beverage tasted bitter, they asked the waiter to add sugar. He took the glasses to the bar counter, added sugar and served the cold coffee again.
